September 2022 Newsletter Believe YOU can
Believe you can
“If you can conceive it and believe it, you can achieve it.” Napoleon Hill made this statement in his book Think and Grow Rich way back in 1937. The first time I read it was in 1983 when I started my career in real estate with only $500 to my name. It made sense to me then, and it still does today.
“Believe in yourself! Have faith in your abilities! Without a humble but reasonable confidence in your own powers, you cannot be successful or happy.” – Norman Vincent Peale
My biggest asset has always been my belief that I can do whatever I set my mind to do. I have spent the majority of my life not just proving people wrong but mostly proving myself right. It is liberating to believe in yourself instead of depending on others to motivate, inspire, or empower you.
To believe in yourself, you have to do three things.
First, you have to love yourself. If you don’t love yourself, you can’t expect other people to love you or do business with you.
Second, you have to eliminate any negative influences in your life. Usually that means staying away from people who are negative or unsupportive.
Third, you have to take care of yourself. Eating right and being physically fit strengthens your self-confidence.
“Some people say I have attitude – maybe I do… but I think you have to. You have to believe in yourself when no one else does – that makes you a winner right there.” – Venus Williams
People gravitate to those of us who are confident. They gravitate to us when we have a strong work ethic and are passionate about what we’re trying to accomplish. You can change the course of your life today by making a decision to BELIEVE YOU CAN.
“Trust yourself. Create the type of self that you will be happy to live with all your life. Make the most of yourself by fanning the tiny, inner sparks of possibility into flames of achievement.” – Golda Meir
I believe that God wants each of us to be the best we possibly can be while we are here on this earth. Why? Because when we are working hard to become the best version of ourselves, we will encourage everyone that we come across to be the best they can be. That is true empowerment!
“Ability is what you’re capable of doing. Motivation determines what you do. Attitude determines how well you do it.” – Lou Holtz
I challenge you to say these words of affirmation out loud as often as possible: I believe I can, I believe I can, I believe I can and I will.
Believing in yourself is extremely exciting because when you choose to believe you can accomplish anything, you WILL open up more doors. More opportunities will come to you and be attainable.
Trust me: In 1983 when I took a straight commission job selling real estate, I had to dig deep to believe in myself. When your income is not guaranteed, you MUST believe in yourself.
“Iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another “ – Proverbs 27:17
I strongly believe in the power of asking God to give you the ability to utilize all of the talent that he gave you. I also believe in visualization, because when you visualize something it’s just a matter of time until you bring it into your life. Visualization and manifestation are two sides of the same thing. The more you visualize what you are going to accomplish, the more you will manifest great opportunities in real life.
When you visualize your own success, you will also bring the right people into your life. I would be thrilled to coach you on how to implement visualization into your life.
Start now, start today doing everything in your power to BELIEVE YOU CAN. If you need someone to coach you who has been there and done that, I am here for you. BELIEVE YOU CAN, AND YOU WILL!

I enjoyed your seminar and its focus. I was on the fence whether or not to attend and decided why not? I could have sat through an all day session if there was one, usually I end up at the seminars that start with a focus and quickly go astray. I found with yours time flew by too fast and it was already time to go but I wasn’t ready to go.”
